In this New Year 2025, I would like to wish you all the very best. Specifically:

A regulated nervous system. Let 2025 be the year you prioritize your mental health by honoring the natural functionning of your body, instead of going against it. May it be the year you finally stop looking at your phone first thing in the morning before drinking coffee on an empty stomach, only to rush and agitate yourself through your daily tasks. May this be the year where you seek sunlight in the morning, practice mindfulness, tune into your intuition and spirituality, and live a slower life. Signs of a dysregulated nervous system manifest under the form of anxiety, nervosity, agitation, depression, burn-out, hormonal imbalance, hopelessness, exhaustion and so on. A healthy diet, movement, and mindfulness are some ways to heal it.

To work less. I once heard working too much was the first regret of elders in life. Depending on your spiritual beliefs, you’ll have a different definition of life purpose. But will anyone answer working my ass off ? Unless you are a professional tennis player, a psychologist, a hairdresser, a tatoo artist, the editor of Chapter 26 or a capricorn, you have no excuse to go home overwhelmed, cortisol to the roof and too drained to live the 5 hours of freedom you have left. Why would you do that to yourself if your occupation is not a passion? Unless you are saving lives, or your job requires fast pace by nature, slow down! The world (or worse, the company!) will not collapse if you take your time. Focus on your health, your loved ones and your hobbies. Surely that is a more purposeful use of your life.

To love yourself. I wish for you to shower yourself with the love and adoration you’d give to the love of your life, to treat yourself with kindness and give yourself the very best. To take that doctor appointment you keep postponing. To stick to your budget. To exercice more, and eat less crap. Self love is not always about indulging, sometimes it’s doing what you need. I wish for you to love yourself enough you take a step toward achieving some of your dreams. To become the better and higher version of yourself.
